NUSGA Primary and General Elections
Be sure to cast your vote for the NUSGA primary elections which will be held on March 15 at 9:00 a.m. until March 16 at 4 p.m.
Any position containing an excess number of candidates will participate in this election. For example, if more than two people run for president, vice president, secretary or treasurer of their class, a primary election will be held. If more than 10 people run for a senator position, a primary election will also be held.
To vote in these elections, which determine who will run in the general election, students can look under the Need to Know tab in MyNU during the voting period
In addition, all students are encouraged to vote for who they wish to represent their class in the 2011-12 academic year, as well as the NUSGA student body president. You may vote on MyNU under the Need to Know tab between March 22 at 9 a.m. and March 23 until 4 p.m. for those running in your graduating class. Also, voting stations will be available during these days in the front of Lower Level Gallagher.
Good luck to all of those who are running!

Senior Class
Attention all seniors! Your class delegation would like your photos from your past four years here at Niagara University. Pictures will be shown in the slideshow, which will play prior to the graduation ceremony. All photos may be submitted via e-mail at NUSGA2011@gmail.com.

Make-A-Wish
NUSGA is pleased to announce that on Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m. in the Statler Dining Room in St. Vincent's Hall, we will be taking part in the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This is in regard to yet another milestone passed from our Strive to Serve initiative made possible by your documented community service hours.
NUSGA will grant the wish of a 3-year-old named Logan, who lives in Niagara County.  As the family will be traveling to Disney World at the end of March, the event will be a going-away party and will include some of Logan's favorite foods, as well as a cash donation given to the family at the event.
Logan's family will also be presented with a Disney travel kit with autograph books, Mickey ears and T-shirts.
We would like to remind all students to go out and continue to practice Niagara University's Vincentian values by striving to serve others in the community.

Leadership Luncheon
NUSGA is sponsoring the first Leadership Luncheon on Saturday, April 16 to honor students who excel in service and leadership, as well as demonstrate the core values of the university. Students are able to apply for awards themselves, as well as nominate others.
Students will be judged by a panel and those chosen will have the opportunity to be recognized in front of various university administration, staff, and guests of their choice.
Descriptions of the awards, as well as how to RSVP and nominate someone for an award, are available under the documents tab at Niagara.edu/NUSGA. Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 23.
