If you ever find yourself wishing you could go somewhere to relax and hang out, there are some unique places in the area to go and do just that. Below are three interesting places you should check out while you are here at NU.

The Book Corner

Location: 1801 Main Street Niagara Falls

Hours: Monday to Saturday 9- 5:30 p.m. and Thursdays till 7 p.m.

This three-story building is comprised of just about any book you could ever desire. The Book Corner has the largest selection of children's books in Western New York, does special orders, out-of-print searches, free gift-wrapping and gift certifi cates. The store has been at its current location since 1982, and has been run by the Morrow family.

The Book Corner's furnishing makes the visit even more enjoyable.

Once you've found the book you want, you are able to sit down and enjoy it right away. Education major Kara Connors says, The Book Corner is awesome. Everyone is always willing to help you fi nd anything you need.

The Orange Cat Coffee Company

Location: 703 Center St., Lewiston

The Orange Cat Coffee is the perfect spot to do your homework, in a relaxed environment, while being able to enjoy delicious coffee, raves biology major Sarah Nugent.

The Orange Cats choices span the gamut! While coffee being the obvious choice, it also has original specialty lattes and serves breakfast and lunch.

The café is furnished with lush chairs, couches, tables and access to free Wi-fi making this a perfect place for doing homework.

Spot Coffee

Location: 765 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo

If you fi nd yourself in Buffalo, Spot Coffee is the place to be. Like the Orange Cat, it offers a comfortable parlor, dining area and a high-top stage are for seating. It offers specialty hot and cold espresso drinks, tea, panini grilled sandwiches, soups, salads, thin crust gourmet pizza and desserts.

Hospitality major, Amy Domiano says, It's a perfect place for college students. Has a great atmosphere for doing homework, meeting people or just hanging out.
