Rugby update

Women's rugby “ The team qualified for the playoffs with a win big win against St. Bonaventure on Saturday Oct. 17 (19-0). The win makes the lady eagles the 2nd seed in New York State Rugby Conference. Playoff action will begin on October 31.

Men's rugby- The team scored a 29-18 win on Saturday, Oct.17 over visiting LeMoyne earning the much-needed bonus point to help the team qualify for the playoffs. The Purple Eagle ruggers will need to beat Geneseo in their next game and score another 25 point total, giving the team an edge over two other opponents for the final playoff position.

'Expresso bike'

Like to bike? Get your cardio in on the Expresso Bike for your chance to make some cash! Come in and sign up for the November challenge: complete 5 total hours of a ride from the California Coast to the Peruvian Mountains, even in outer space, and you'll be entered for a chance to win $50. After this experience, you'll be coming back for more!

Officials wanted

The Kiernan Center is looking for motivated individuals that are interested in making some extra money to help them through the semester. Offi cials are required to oversee and monitor each sport we offer throughout the intramural season. They are paid per game and you can earn up to $10 per game that you offi ciate. If you are interested in becoming an intramural offi cial, please come to one of the following meetings:

dodgeball “ Thursday, Oct. 29 Being an intramural offi cial is a fun and exciting way to make money, meet new people, and get involved on campus. If you don't know much about the sports, don't worry. Each offi cial is trained by the intramural staff here at NU.
