NUSGA announces scholarship winner

The Niagara University Government Association Scholarship was established in 2005 to assist students at Niagara University. The scholarship is awarded to a Niagara University undergraduate student who has demonstrated leadership in his or her community or on campus. The Student Government Association contributes $1,000 a year for an annual award that is given to a selected student based on financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.

To apply for the scholarship, a student must write an essay entitled "Leadership and Vincentian Values." This gives the applicant an opportunity to show his or her writing skills, and shows what the Vincentian Mission means, as well as how it can be applied in everyday life.

This year's recipient was sophomore marketing and finance major Anthony Badolato.

Undergraduate students can apply for the Niagara University Government Association Scholarship next fall.
