On Oct. 20, student leaders from the many clubs and club sports of Niagara University gathered at the Barton Hill Hotel & Spa in Lewiston for a night of food, conversation and networking. The NUSGA-sponsored event was designed to bring student leaders together with administration under one roof to discuss leadership skills, fundraising, and other strategies to assist in group development.
By bringing everyone together under one roof, we are able to be exposed to a more diverse idea pool, said Student Body President Christopher Zukas.
Awards were presented throughout the event in order to recognize superior performance in the NU community. One award was given to the men's club hockey team for being the club that raised the most money in a fundraiser. In addition, Delta Chi Epsilon Fraternity received an award for the most community service hours accumulated in the previous school year.
