Q: Why did you want to become a CA?
A: I became a CA because I loved the environment that was established by my then-RAs. I wanted the opportunity to build that environment for others to enjoy.
Q: What is a highlight and drawback of being a CA?
A: A highlight of becoming a CA is that I have had the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life – that I may have not had the opportunity to encounter, had I not been a CA. A drawback of being a CA is that there are sometimes when deadlines accumulate in one specific time frame, and you feel as if you won’t be able to get all of your schoolwork done and all of your CA work done. But everything works out in the end.
Q: Do you have a favorite memory of being a CA?
A: One of my favorite memories during my time being a CA is the bond that I was able to make with the Italian students. I loved hearing them gush about how much their English had improved over a matter of weeks, and how everything here was so different from what they were used to, but they were loving every minute of it.
